9 Data Retention

BTE55 retains Personal Data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law. Our standard retention periods are as follows:

• Enquiry correspondence data (name, email, message): retained for up to 24 months from the date of last contact, then securely deleted;
• Anonymised analytics data: retained in aggregated, non-identifiable form for up to 36 months to support long-term Platform improvement;
• Technical and security logs (IP addresses, access logs): retained for up to 90 days for security monitoring purposes, then deleted;
• Cookie data: as set out in Section 7, depending on cookie type.

When Personal Data is no longer required for any legitimate purpose, it is securely deleted or irreversibly anonymised. Users may request earlier deletion of their data in accordance with the rights set out in Section 11.

10 Data Security

BTE55 takes the security of your Personal Data seriously and implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect it against unauthorised access, accidental loss, alteration, disclosure or destruction. These measures include:

• Encryption in transit: All communications between your browser and the Platform are encrypted using TLS (Transport Layer Security) protocols;

While BTE55 takes all reasonable precautions, no method of data transmission over the internet or electronic storage is entirely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but commit to responding promptly and responsibly to any identified data security incident.

11 User Rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the following rights in relation to Personal Data that BTE55 holds about you. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in Section 15. We will respond to all verified requests within a reasonable timeframe and in any event within 30 days.

BTE55 will not charge a fee for processing a rights request unless it is manifestly unfounded or excessive. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. If we are unable to fulfil a request, we will explain the reason in writing.

12 Children's Privacy

The BTE55 Platform is intended exclusively for individuals aged 18 years or older, or the higher minimum age required by the applicable operator or license jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from individuals under the age of 18.

If we become aware that Personal Data has been submitted by a person under 18, we will take immediate steps to delete that data from our systems. If you believe that a minor has submitted Personal Data through the Platform, please notify us immediately using the contact details in Section 15 so we can investigate and act promptly.

13 International Data Transfers

BTE55 may transfer Personal Data to service providers or infrastructure partners located outside Pakistan. Where such transfers occur, BTE55 takes steps to ensure that adequate protections are in place, consistent with the principles set out in this Policy.
